Description: This is the first leg of your "marathon".  Enjoy the downhill of Bell Road while preparing for the uphill that awaits you.  This is the perfect course to provide you a great warm-up to the rest of your marathon!   Location(GPS): 730 Tahoma Farm Road, Westminster, MD, 21158.  Tahoma Farm Road is off of Route 31 that runs past the McDaniel College golf course.  Parking will be limited in the park's parking lot but there is plenty of parking available on the roads around the baseball field. ? Description: This is the second leg of your "marathon".  This is 6.2 miles of some nice "rolling" hills and takes place on much of the same course that the Bachman Valley Half Marathon was run on.  This race is at the same location and is the same course as the race known as the Dasher Dance which was previously held in the middle of December in past years.   Location(GPS): 1300 Tech Court, Westminster, MD, 21157. Description: This WRRC event takes place on the roads outside of Runnymede Elementary School during the month of November.  Some of this course is run during the Twilight Series 8K.  This race now is the third leg of the WRRC "Marathon Series".  Rolling hills.  Be aware that after 6-ish miles you will be dealing with an uphill through the last three-quarters of a mile.  This race starts and finishes at Runnymede Elementary School which provides a slight uphill on the first 200 meters but a great downhill kick 200 meters at the finish. ? Location(GPS):  Runnymede Elementary School, 3000 Langdon Drive, Westminster, MD 21158.  From Westminster: Take 140W toward Taneytown.  Take a right onto Mayberry Road and then take first right onto Langdon Drive. ? Description: This 8 Mile race is the final leg of the Marathon Series and features a "Heartbreak Hill" at Mile 25.  It is the last race of the year for the Westminster Road Runners Club. This course starts at Roberts Mill Park. Rolling hills.  However, be prepared for the last hill;  you'll enjoy it while going out but will need to finish your "marathon" on the way back up! ? Location(GPS):  4501 Stumptown Road, Taneytown, MD 21787.  Directions from Westminster: Take 140W towards Taneytown.  Take first right in circle to continue on 140.  In about a half mile, turn right onto Divern Street (first turn after PNC Bank).  Take 3rd right onto Stumptown Road.  Park will be on your right.   ?
